The Aurora Animal Care Division provides animal care services for the city of Aurora.

You can call them to pick up an injured or stray animal Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The number to call is 303-326-8280. If you find a lost animal, local newspapers will run a free "found" advertisement in the classified section for three days, but it’s best to bring the animal to the Aurora Animal Shelter at 15750 E. 32nd Ave. The Aurora Animal Shelter has many wonderful animals available for adoption. You can come visit them at the above address from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday or from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
