Make your mom’s dream come true
Moms might be the most underappreciated, overworked, and non-celebrated people out there. But, The Live with Regis and Kelly Show is trying to change that once again. In honor of Mother's Day, the show is conducting a Mom's Dream Come True Guest Search for another annual Mom's Dream Come True Show.
If you want to show your mom how much you care and you would love to make her dream come true, you can nominate her for the contest. Here is some general information:
- Nominees must be 18 or older
- Moms or "mom-equivalents" can be nominated
- Nominations must include a short letter (one page or less) describing your mom and her dream and explaining why they should maker her dream come true
- A photo of your nominee-taken within the last 12 months-must be included
- Names, addresses, and phone numbers of you and your nominee must be submitted
- Nominees may be selected based on the following criteria-[a] compelling nature of the letter [b] special qualities of the nominee [c] realistic ability to fulfill the dream
- ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY NOON ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 16, 2008!

Let me start by saying I love your Show! I love how you are able to change ordinary people’s lives. You truly inspire me and so many that I know. I am coming to you to share the story of my mother and father in law. They are two of the most wonderful people I know. They raised 11 wonderful kids on a farm in Aberdeen, Idaho. My father in law still works on a farm full time and my mother in law drives bus for the school district. They are always thinking of others and their needs before they think of themselves. All 11 of their children are now married with their own families. There are a total of 79 of us including mom and dad, children and their spouses, grandchildren and their spouses and 3 great-grandchildren. There are also more to come. We are a very close family who loves each other. It all started with the two wonderful people who have continually given of themselves day in and day out. They are truly amazing! I know that there are a lot of people out there in a similar situation, but there is one small thing I want for my mother and father in law… They have never been on an actual vacation with all of their children. We have a yearly Family Reunion where we usually go camping in order to try and accommodate everyone’s budgets and we have a lot of fun. But this year is their 50th wedding Anniversary. My mother-in-laws dream is to go on a trip with ALL of their kids and their spouses. They have never been a vacation with all 11 kids! Well, after a lot of debating we all decided we would go to Oahu, Hawaii. I would love to see their dream come true, however there are people who I am afraid will not be able to afford this trip when all is said and done. I want us all to go and be able to find a place where we can be together and celebrate 50 wonderful years for two wonderful people. I don’t know what could even be done, because I know that 24 people is a lot of people, but if you could just do a small vacation
package that could be used for those who cannot afford it, it would be wonderful!!! So, Regis and Kelly, if you could do anything to make this happen for my mother and father in law, it would mean the world to me! Thanks a ton for listening to our story! Amber Bradley
